This trip is based out of Glacier View, not far from Anchorage. You’ll have the opportunity to stay at Sheep Mountain‘s historic lodge if you want some relaxation with your glacier adventure. After gearing up with your ice guides you’ll head to the launching pad for a 15 minute scenic flight. Be sure to bring your camera, spectacular views are boundless from the passenger seat over the Matanuska Valley.
